What started as a rainy Thursday morning turned into a sunny day and a perfect afternoon to hit the links for a great cause.

Jason Porreco and rest of the Bianchi Honda team, which includes John Potter, Dave Spitzer, and Cory Smith, displayed their best drives and putts at the Riverside Golf Course in Cambridge Springs.  And their efforts weren’t in vain - they won first place at the Barber National Institute’s 2014 Shillelagh Golf Tournament.

John Barber, president of the Barber National Institute, presented each of the winning team members with an authentic shillelagh made in Ireland.

The golf scramble is held each year, and proceeds benefit the institute’s Bright Beginning program which provides early intervention therapies and services to children from birth to age 3.
